They were warned... They are doomed... and on Friday the 13th, nothing will save them.
One summer at Camp Crystal Lake, a group of young counselors begin to get ready to lead campers. Unfortunately for the former, someone isn't happy about what's going on in the camp and enjoys playing kill the counselor. As bodies fall to the ground in the camp, no one is safe.
The year is stated as 1958, taking place a year after the drowning of Jason Voorhees and the date would be Friday, June 13th.
Jun 13, 1980
The date is stated as "Friday, June 13, the present", with the present referring to the release year, as that has a valid Friday the 13th in June. However, the tombstone of Mrs. Voorhees in Friday the 13th Part 4 claims she died in 1979, setting this film in that year. Contrary to popular belief (and incorrect information), June of 1979 does not have a Friday the 13th, so this is false information. Alternatively, the tombstone seen in Friday the 13th Part 4 could be the result of a cover-up by Mrs. Voorhees as she hoped to get away with her killing spree in the first film by feigning her death beforehand, suggesting it was all premeditated.
