So I've seen most of all of them but I''am rewatching all of them in Alphabetically order.
I'am two down with watching Absurd (1981) and Anthrophagus: The Grim Reaper (1980) but I''am skipping Axe (1977) cause I didn't care for it the first saw it, Axe fans please don't ream my ass. Lol

I was wondering from any of you guys/girls here if there are you recommend I skip that aren't so great.

Thank You

Mardi Gras Massacre ain't up to much. And though I personally like it, Frozen Scream is safely skipped unless you're really into super inept weirdness.

I haven't seen a lot of them, but I looked at the wikipedia page and there seems to be a lot of sub-categories.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_nasty

Of the actual list, I've seen:

Prosecuted Films:
Blood Feast
The Burning
Cannibal Apocalypse
Cannibal Ferox
Cannibal Holocaust
Don't Go in the Woods
The Driller Killer
Flesh for Frankenstein
The House on the Edge of the Park
I Spit on Your Grave
Island of Death
The Last House on the Left
Tenebre
Zombi 2

Non-Prosecuted Films:
The Beyond
Dead & Buried
Man from Deep River
The Evil Dead
The Funhouse
Inferno
Visiting Hours

And they're all fun, violent pieces of cinematic fuckery... I'd like to tag the films appropriately on this site so we can get a definitive list of them on here. It might take a while, and we also haven't even added all of them yet...

So to answer your question... of the ones I've seen, you can probably skip Man from Deep River, Driller Killer, and Don't Go in the Woods. I'd probably just suck it up and watch them anyway though.

As bad as i hate to admit it, but my wife loved Don't Go In The Woods to where I disliked it, so there is no way I'll get to skip it.
Thanks for the other recs I'll probably watch them cause there two that I haven't seen.

I didn't know that Wikipedia put them in categories like that, thanks for letting me view them that way.

Don't Go in the Woods is pretty crappy, and I watched a really bad copy on youtube, so it didn't leave the best impression on me. Which 2 haven't you seen?

I've tagged the nasties we have in our site's database, so here they are, sorted by best to worst:

I looked on Wikipedia and of the ones I seen I liked them all. I still have quite a few though I need to watch. I don't know maybe Ghastly Ones if you're not a fan of Milligan. I've heard Snuff isn't very good. But I haven't seen either I have Ghastly Ones, but I haven't got around to watching it.

I haven't seen a lot of them, but here's a couple of really good resources (if you listen to podcasts, that is...)

http://videonastiespodcast.com/ Which covers the complete 72 on the list

http://www.stitcher.com/podcast/the-strange-and-deadly-show/e/the-strange-and-deadly-show-cannibal-cannibals-35761361 Kinda of a companion piece (though not the same guy from the video nasties podcast) that covers the movies that didn;t land on the list, but still got into trouble during that time

Also this lenghtly docu on the nasties is excellent http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1740712/?ref_=fn_al_tt_6

I've seen most of them. A lot weren't anything special, but Axe is definitely the worst of the bunch.

I loved Axe! Saw it earlier this month for the challenge. It's got great video quality, yet it still looks like a product from its eraold as hell. It's also short, and filled with blood that looks like red paint. And there's a rape/revenge plot going on in there somewhere. It's almost as awesome as Criminally Insane.

Hmmm, can you do emoticons in here? I was going to make a cheers thing, but I don't see how... well, you see what I'm saying.

Cheers Tommix, funny I don't know how to make the cheers thing either.

I agree Redhawk for the nasties I've seen Axe is difinitely the worst one.
I still haven't watched Frozen Scream and Blood Wank said it's pretty bad.
