I know remakes are the devil and all, but are there any horror films you feel would benefit from one? Perhaps because it was a good concept poorly executed or because they haven't aged well? Any reason really

I am open old for old Sci Fi being remade. Without Tom Cruise though or movies directed by Roland Emmerich.

The Funhouse (1981), the Hooper film is okay but nothing I found particularly memorable. I'd love to see it redone in the guise of the Koontz book that came after.

Motel Hell (1980)
Maybe Bill Mosley as Vincent and Kathy Bates as Ida.

Thanks, you're right thou I hope they never do a remake but if they did I think Bill Mosley and Kathy Bates are the only ones who could pull it off I think.

Fortunately, Kathy Bates is doing plenty of horror work in American Horror Story. And Bill Moseley? Any character he plays is generally a twisted white trash psycho, so all he needs is the overalls and we can always pretend! Ever listen to his band 'Cornbugs'? He sings in character of Chop-Top from TCM2, about all sorts of wonderful topics, like rotten meat, chicken farms, dirty sperm rags, and Ed Gein. I'm glad to have met that crazy fucker. I even bought an album from him!

Damn I had no idea he was in a band. I'am going now to listen to some stuff.
Thanks for me letting me know and has Chop-top I bet that's badass.

I'll admit this everyday to anybody but Kathy Bates has always been one of my favorite actresses in film.

She's pretty great. Surprisingly, I've never seen Misery. emoticon

Yes, Cornbugs is awesome, and what's really surprising about the band is that it has Buckethead on guitars, and he's one of the best guitarists I've ever heard.

Some of my favorites are "Box 'a Hair", "Chance", "Chuckles", "Dirty Sperm Rag", "Dust N Bones", "Meat Rotten Meat", "Pigs Are People Too", "Poker Face", "Rip the Mask", "Spot the Psycho", "Wasteland". The band is no more, but Bill is in another band called "Spider Mountain", which is still pretty interesting.
