Okay, I know the 1990's are not particularly looked upon with great fondness by most horror fans, but personally, while not the best, I feel it was an underated decade.

@jimb14red posted an informative thread about his views on the decade a while back.

"90's Horror: An underrated decade" - https://trashepics.com/post/102/4/

My Top 10 would look like this: (a word to the wise - a lot of obscure stuff here and may not be to everyones taste)

1. The Addiction (1995)
2. I Zombie: The Chronicles of Pain (1998)
3. Intensity (1997 TV Movie)
4. Buried Alive (1990 TV Movie)
5. Dead Leaves (1998)
6. The Haunted (1991 TV Movie)
7. Aswang (1994)
8. Blood & Donuts (1995)
9. The Possession of Michael D. (1995 TV Movie)
10. Dead Alive (1992)

What makes your list?

What do you think it was about TV horror films in the '90s that made four of them find their way on to your list? Or is it just coincidental? I quite liked Buried Alive but found The Haunted really dull, apart from the (unintentionally?) hilarious "ghost rape" scene. Ever see Wheels of Terror (1990)? Its a TV movie as well. I liked it a lot back in the day but haven't seen it since the '90s.

For myself, maybe

The People Under the Stairs (1991)
The Boneyard (1991)
Cemetery Man (1994)
Demon Knight (1995)
Castle Freak (1995)
From Dusk till Dawn (1996)
Fatal Frames (1996)
The Night Flier (1997)
Terror Firmer (1999)
Kolobos (1999)

Yeah, People Under the Stairs rocks. Tis a shame the flack Wes Craven receives. I don't get it personally. The man made a lot of great, good and just plain fun movies. emoticon

The Night Flier is very underrated, yes.
