I'm a big fan of The People Under the Stairs and Dressed to Kill. I'm actually surprised you haven't seen them.

Haven't seen many of these and most of what I've seen needs a rewatch.

YellowBrickRoad 2010 - its daft nonsense, i like it. certain cene made me laugh aloud, ham for ending
The Cell 2000 - tarsem at his visual best, d'nofrio great, dated cgi and lopez, plus vaughn before he got his 'serious' acting chops straight. i love it tho.
We Are What We Are 2013 - i prefer the remake
Close Encounters of the Third Kind 1977 come closer
Love Object 2003 - stalkery, i think. i cant remember. def seen it. solid 3 star.
Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead 2014 - low budget ausie apocalyptic stuff

The People Under the Stairs 1991 is a decent Wes Craven endeavor. Somewhat cheesy, but pretty fun, with an interesting cast featuring two actors from Twin Peaks.

Two Evil Eyes 1990 is a solid two-parter with a great cast.

Dressed to Kill 1980 is a great Psycho rip-off. Probably the best out there.

Wither 2013 is an Evil Dead rip-off. Doesn't have as much to offer, but it's an okay effort.

American Gothic 1987 is a slasher with old-timey religious killers in the woods, on an island I think. I saw it on tv at my grandma's once as a kid and it scared the hell out of me. Saw it again later and it was okay.

Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead 2014 is an alternative zombie flick with Mad Max vibes and some mad scientist bullshit thrown into the mix. There's supposed to be a tv show of this coming. Decent.

The Guest 2014 is, like ballz said, pretty damn cool. It's a Terminator/Halloween homage, and those are my two favorite movies, so this one made me a bit giddy. Dan Stevens is great in this.

Exceptionally large haul there Gym. Besides the more well known titles included and mentioned by others up above, you have some great lesser known Indie flicks in that list IMO. Some standouts are

Since you replied to me I guess you wanted me to know your not a fan of The Last Winter...good cast with fine acting, good original story, that's rare in horror these days. Alright the CGI was a bit weak I'll give ya that but to each his own I guess.

Well not really, I was in near agreement and just backing up what you were saying as these were good lesser known recent films (apart from last winter which I thought was a bit weak)

I hated The Cell, Close Encounters, and The People Under the Stairs. They've long been on my "worst films I've ever seen" list.

American Gothic was fairly good. I saw The Plumber many years ago and can't remember a lot except it was more or less a home invasion theme and I liked it at the time.

The rest I haven't seen.
